Aim

To provide the knowledge and skills required to give prospective security trainers the knowledge, skills and qualifications they need to deliver SIA approved training courses.  Successful candidates will be awarded the City and Guilds 7303 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.  This course is on the list of approved SIA trainer qualifications and is also one of the qualifications which will be required by all teachers and trainers from 1st September 2007.

Duration

5 days classroom including 3-4 hours of evening work for the first 4 days. Private study work will also be required prior to the classroom phase.
